On these pages I hope to post links to articles and other published work, alongside my attempts at poetry and creative writing. I am developing all the time and will use this page as a record of where I am in the world of writing.
It would be good to have your views, so do check back on a regular basis to see if there is anything to interest you.
I am always pleased to be contacted to undertake commissioned writing. As a researcher I am able to undertake freelance work on a variety of topics from social exclusion to lifestyle choices, women’s views to parenting teenagers, from gardening to cooking, and especially on family history and how it can have an impact on how we view ourselves as individuals in the 21st century.
I have also completed the NaNoWrimo (National Novel Writing Month) 50,000 word writing challenge twice and am now in the re-write stage of those two novels.
I also enjoy reading challenges, as I believe it is only by reading widely that I can become the writer I want to be and learn to find my own voice. I am a member of Goodreads and have a Review page here on my blog where I share my thoughts on some of the books I read.
In 2011 I am also taking part in The Christmas Spirit Reading Challenge hosted by The True Book Addict.
